Abstract

This paper discusses the action research, their origins and historical development. Action research is a flexible process in which the alternate action (change, improvement) and research (understanding, knowledge). It is used to collect information on the implementation of a social action or intervention; the action means any social action. Genesis of action research is based on the sociological approach from Kurt Levin, and their roots can be recognized in the works of Jon Dewey.
