Cuộc đấu tranh nữ quyền ở Anh và Pháp thời cận đại

Abstract

Bài viết khái quát, nhìn nhận lại quá trình đấu tranh nữ quyền ở Anh và Pháp thời cận đại để thấy rằng cuộc đấu tranh đó không hề đơn giản và luôn lâu dài, khó khăn. Mặc dù hai nước giành được nhiều thành tựu quan trọng, có ý nghĩa đối với nền văn minh nhân loại; nhưng phụ nữ không có được quyền bình đẳng với nam giới ngay từ thời điểm tiến hành cách mạng tư sản thế kỳ XVII, XVIII. Sau mấy thế kỷ đấu tranh phụ nữ ở Anh mới giành được quyền bầu cử, bình đẳng so với nam giới; trong khi phụ nữ Pháp mất nhiều thời gian hơn để giành được quyền bình đẳng đó.

The paper demonstrates and re-evaluates the process of feminist movement in England and France in the early modern period to show that this struggle was complex and difficult to achieve good results. Although the revolutions in both two countries in the 17th and 18lh centuriesprovided important and meaningful achievements for the world civilization, women had no equality in companion with men and no rights to vote. After few centuries of struggle, British women achieved rights to vote, equality with man in the early 20th century, while French women needed more time to obtain those rights in the feminist movement.
