Mối tương quan trong nội dung hoạt động giáo dục ngoài giờ lên lớp tại trường Đại học Cần Thơ

Abstract

Ngoài giờ học chính thức, các trường đại học cần tổ chức nhiều hoạt động ngoại khóa đa dạng giúp sinh viên phát triển kỹ năng mềm trong quá trình học tập tại trường. Bài viết trình bày thực trạng hoạt động ngoại khóa giáo dục tại Trường Đại học Cần Thơ. Khảo sát 520 cán bộ quản lý/giảng viên và sinh viên tại Trường Đại học Cần Thơ cho thấy tình hình thực hiện, mức độ hiệu quả và sự quan tâm đến nội dung hoạt động ngoại khóa tại Trường Đại học Cần Thơ ở mức trung bình (trung bình = 3,89). Phân tích tương quan giữa thực hiện, hiệu quả và sự quan tâm của sinh viên đến nội dung hoạt động ngoại khóa cho thấy có sự tương quan chặt chẽ giữa từng yếu tố đó. Ngoài ra, có sự khác biệt trong đánh giá của cán bộ quản lý, giảng viên và sinh viên về nội dung hoạt động ngoại khóa. Kết quả nghiên cứu là cơ sở đề xuất các biện pháp nhằm thúc đẩy việc thực hiện, sự quan tâm của sinh viên và cuối cùng là hiệu quả của hoạt động ngoại khóa đối với sinh viên Trường Đại học Cần Thơ.

Apart from official school hours, universities need to organize a variety of extracurricular activities to help students develop soft skills during their university course. The article presents the current situation of educational extracurricular activities at Can Tho University. A survey of 520 managers/ lecturers and students at Can Tho University shows that the situation of implementation, the level of effectiveness and interest in the content of extra-curricular activities at Can Tho University is medium (mean =3,89). The correlation analysis between implementation, effectiveness and students’ interest in the content of extracurricular activities shows that there was a strong correlation between each of those factors. In addition, there we re differences in the assessment of managers, lecturers and students about the content of extracurricular activities. The research result is the basis for proposing measures to promote the implementation, students’ interest and eventually the effectiveness of the extracurricular activities for students of Can Tho University.
