Sử dụng phương pháp dự án của William Heard Kilpatrick để tổ chức hoạt động giáo dục kĩ năng sống cho học sinh tiểu học

Abstract

Giáo dục kỹ năng sống cho học sinh tiểu học là một trong những nhiệm vụ giáo dục quan trọng nhằm thực hiện mục tiêu đổi mới giáo dục cũng như đáp ứng nhu cầu phát triển của đất nước trong bối cảnh hội nhập quốc tế. Có nhiều biện pháp tổ chức hoạt động giáo dục kỹ năng sống cho học sinh tiểu học, trong đó việc áp dụng phương pháp dạy học tích cực đã gây được sự quan tâm lớn. Trên cơ sở một số vấn đề lý luận liên quan đến phương pháp dự án của Kilpatrick, nghiên cứu này trình bày đặc điểm và quy trình vận dụng phương pháp dự án vào tổ chức hoạt động giáo dục và đặc biệt là hoạt động giáo dục kỹ năng sống cho học sinh tiểu học bằng một dự án cụ thể. Việc áp dụng phương pháp dự án vào tổ chức hoạt động giáo dục kỹ năng sống cho học sinh tiểu học dường như tạo ra tác động tích cực trong việc thúc đẩy tính tích cực trong học tập của học sinh và hình thành ở các em những kỹ năng sống cần thiết.

Life skills education for primary school students is one of the important educational tasks to realize the goal of educational innovation as well as to meet the needs of the country's development in the context of international integration. There are many measures to organize life skills education activities for primary school students, in which the application of active teaching methods has provoked great interest. Based on some theoretical issues related to Kilpatrick's project method, this study presents the characteristics and process of applying the project method to the organization of educational activities and particularly life skills educational activities for elementary students with a specific project. The application of the project method to the organization of life skills education activities for primary school students seems to create a positive impact in promoting students’ activeness in learning and developing in them necessary life skills.
