Language serves as a “window” into the culture of a nation. Through language, we can understand the culture of a people. Throughout the long development of human history, numbers have played not only a significant role in science but also encompass cultural connotations and social meanings. China and Vietnam, with their contiguous mountains and rivers, both possess long-standing cultural histories. Numerals are widely used in literature, fine arts, art, architecture, and philosophy. Within the scope of this article, we have analyzed the cultural characteristics of numerals and the usage patterns of numerals by the Vietnamese and Chinese people. By identifying these differences, we gain a more multifaceted perspective on this issue.vi
